Naples. This morning, the Carabinieri, State Police, Financial Police, and Local Police are serving 20 precautionary seizure orders issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Court of Naples, at the request of the local Public Prosecutor's Office, to as many squatters of properties located within the public housing complex at Via Egiziaca in Pizzofalcone 35.
The occupants have been given a 15-day deadline to leave the premises or appeal; upon expiration of the aforementioned deadline, procedures for the forced eviction of the property will be initiated.
In November, 16 more apartments were vacated.
Today's activity is the continuation of the one started on November 10, 2022 which involved 16 properties located in the same building - owned by the municipality - and which have already been vacated with a similar procedure.
The investigative activity carried out by the Flying Squad, the San Ferdinando Police Station, the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Naples , the Rapid Response Group of the Guardia di Finanza and the Local Police – Operational Unit for the Protection of Property – has allowed us to gather numerous elements against the suspects for invasion of land and buildings.
