Last night, during a service to combat drug dealing, officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, while passing through via Santa Caterina a Formiello, noticed two men giving something to a woman in exchange for money; the three, at the sight of the officers, fled in different directions.
The police, after a brief chase on foot, reached and stopped the two men, finding them in possession of 120 packages containing approximately 27 grams of cocaine and 168 euros, while the woman managed to disappear.
A 24-year-old Dominican and a 25-year-old Cuban, both with criminal records, were arrested for possession with intent to distribute narcotics and resisting a public official.
