Following a report from some users, investigators from the Fuorigrotta Highway Police Subsection identified three people on the Naples Ring Road, at the automatic toll booths at the Capodichino barrier, who were harassingly asking motorists for alms.
The same, without documents, were identified as three women of Romanian nationality, with previous convictions for the harassing exercise of begging and fraudulent manipulation of automatic cash machines intended for the automatic payment of motorway tolls, and reported for the harassing exercise of begging and failure to comply with the provisions of the Authority.
Furthermore, they were charged with a violation of the Highway Code for walking on the motorway, while the coins they were found in possession of were seized.
