This morning in Via Vecchia Comunale in Miano – a joint intervention between the Municipal Police, Asia, and the Presidency of the 7th Municipality – represented by Vice President Giuseppe Grazioso with responsibility for the environment.
Some condominiums of the street in question systematically abandoned waste on the roadway creating real landfills, even preventing the use of the sidewalk. Thanks to the opening of the bags by Asia staff in collaboration with the Municipal Police it was possible to fine some residents of the area using documentation found together with the waste.
Reports were also drawn up and vehicles parked in no-parking zones and on the sidewalk were removed. " Additional patrols will be set up to ensure normal living conditions are restored ," states the Vice President of the 7th Municipality.
And then he adds: “It is unacceptable that, despite door-to-door waste collection being in place in this part of the country, citizens continue to dump unsorted waste on the road.”
