A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the FAI ANTIRACKET EDILI CAMPANIA Association and the Naples Training and Safety Center (CFS), a bilateral organization managed by ANCE Napoli and the trade unions Feneal Uil, Filca Cisl, and Fillea Cgil, which provides training for construction workers and provides on-site consultancy on occupational health and safety.
The aim of the protocol signed by the president of FAI, geom. Lucio Cerasuolo and the president of CFS, architect Roberta Vitale is to assist companies in the consultancy activity for the management of safety on construction sites, in the information and training activities of the workers and technicians of the companies and, if requested by the same, of its subcontractors operating on construction sites.
The CFS of Naples will assist companies in controlling and monitoring the activities provided for by Legislative Decree 81/08 regarding safety and hygiene in the workplace.
In compliance with the National Collective Agreement for the sector, companies must allow CFS technicians access to the construction site to carry out safety checks and to agree on any subsequent interventions that may be necessary.
All activities carried out by the CFS, within the scope of the Memorandum of Understanding, will be carried out free of charge for registered and regular companies with the payments of contributions to the Cassa Edile di Napoli. For companies not regular with payments to Cassa Edile di Napoli, all courses will be paid.
On the basis of the above training programs or at the request of the companies, information meetings will be scheduled on previously agreed themes and topics that may also be extended to the workers of the individual subcontractor companies depending on the work phases to be carried out.
Information will also be provided through the distribution of explanatory brochures and the projection of supporting video and computer material.
Upon request of the companies, the CFS will provide, with its own equipment and competent personnel, to carry out on-site assessments of the exposure of workers to noise and vibrations, relating to all the activities planned for the construction of the works. This service, for companies registered regularly with contribution payments in Casse Edile di Napoli, is free. The CFS reserves the right to evaluate the priorities of the requests from time to time according to its operational availability
