The wild stop at Naples continues to claim "victims" especially among public transport.
As some citizens reported to the Green-Left alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, on Sunday 16 April in via Pessina a car in a no-parking zone blocked the passage of a bus which consequently created a traffic jam while another bus remained trapped in via Conte di Ruvo.
“Every day, due to uncivilized people who park illegally and recklessly, about 22 buses remain stuck in the streets of the city, creating serious traffic problems. We have been reporting this for years, yet we continue to take lightly the phenomenon that, instead, is a very serious problem against which we should intervene harshly.” – declares Borrelli.
“In addition to the inconvenience caused to motorists, uncivilized parking creates obstacles for pedestrians and disabled people, and, very often, hinders the passage of emergency vehicles. We cannot continue to tolerate this bad habit, but it must be eradicated from the daily life of our city.”
