The apartment where he lives Robert Spada was seized this morning by the Carabinieri of the Investigative Nucleus of the Ostia Group. The property, which the clan boss has been illegally occupying together with his partner since 2006, is owned by the Municipality of Rome and is located in via Guido Vincon 27 in Ostia.
The military, this morning, notified, on behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rome, the provision issued by the GIP of the Court of Rome. The military also ascertained that the accommodation was served by an illegal connection to the public electricity network. Roberto Spada is the leading figure of the Roman coast already convicted for the crime of private violence, the headbutt to the Rai journalist will be remembered, aggravated by the mafia method.
The investigation was also started following the referral of the couple to the Judicial Authority - during the month of March - for the crime of aggravated theft of electricity committed by directly connecting the seized apartment to the supplier's supply network.
Subsequent investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri, allowed them to ascertain that the couple, in addition to stealing electricity, did not have any title that would legitimise them to inhabit the apartment on Via G. Vincon, managed by the Municipality of Rome to deal with the housing emergency, thus accruing a debt towards the Authority equal to 43.355,56 euros for unpaid occupation allowances and equal to 11.063 euros towards the company managing the electricity network, for the unaccounted energy.
In fact, on the basis of what has emerged so far, the same people would have obtained the availability of the property in 2006, following an "exchange" agreed with the previous illegal occupant, who in turn moved to another apartment offered to her by the current suspects and also illegally occupied by them, an operation presumably aimed at reuniting the couple with the original family unit, also living in the building at Via Vincon 27.
The complex of investigative findings allowed the investigating judge of the Court of Rome to order the preventive seizure of the property, aimed at its evacuation and return to the managing body for assignment, according to the procedures established by the legislation for the purpose of public interest underlying the management of real estate assets.

Local actor and comedian Enzo Salvi also documented the devastation, posting two stories on his Instagram profile. "We in Ostia wake up to bombs," he wrote. "Cars gutted, all the windows in the building blown out. People terrified." The images released by Salvi show the damage caused by the explosion, including the gym shutter bearing the "Di Napoli" sign and debris scattered across the street.
