Tracing a common path between Anpi and the Democratic Party to worthily celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Four Days of Naples.
Signing the collaboration agreement were Professor Ciro Raia, regional coordinator of the Anpi; Giuseppe Annunziata, Democratic secretary of the metropolitan city of Naples; and Antonio Misiani, regional commissioner of the Pd Campania.
The protocol was born with the desire to implement a series of actions to promote the recovery of historical memory, its knowledge and valorization, all through the promotion of training and information activities promoted by the Anpi of Naples and the PD of Campania.
"Starting today, we are embarking on a shared journey to foster the memory and awareness among new generations of what was an extraordinary period of civic engagement and resistance in the city of Naples. In this way, we intend to adequately prepare to celebrate next September the eightieth anniversary of the popular uprising with which, between September 27 and 30, 1943, during the Second World War, the civilian population and military loyal to the Kingdom of the South managed to liberate the city of Naples from occupation by the German Wehrmacht forces," the signatories of the protocol stated in a statement.
