The event on Friday, April 28 has been postponed.
PolUp, the Pop festival of culture and politics is enriched with a new piece. After the presentation of the book by Claudio Martelli and the two texts by Giuseppe Formisano, the next event will be held on May 12 at the MAV, the Virtual Archaeological Museum of Ercolano.
The event shifts the focus on injustices through the book “Napoli 2020” which tells the story of Cocacò, a man from the Rione Sanità who, in order to live and provide for his family, arms himself with commitment and overcomes various difficulties during the year of lockdown and coronavirus.
Irvin Vairetti of the association Maestri di Strada Onlus, a learning community created to carry out support actions for young people who want to escape from conditions of exclusion, will be present to talk with the author, Deborah Divertito.
The presentation of Luca Manzo's book "Colletti bianchi", scheduled for Friday, April 28, has been postponed to a date to be determined. Information will follow as soon as it is scheduled.
PolUp is a festival born this year with the aim of bringing culture into schools, streets and everyday life, through 10 itinerant events.
" The festival is just getting started, but it's been a long and complex process. We want to do something beautiful for our city and our region, " says Piero Sabbarese, the creator of the event, " and we're truly thrilled with how things are going. The city's response is passionate and attentive, and we're determined to do more and do better."
