They had already packaged the doses, ready to be sold over the long Easter weekend, when the island of Capri was overrun with tourists. But the pair of pushers hadn't counted on the Carabinieri, who had been monitoring their movements in the previous days.

In fact the Carabinieri of the station Capri, together with those from Anacapri, arrested a 27-year-old local man with no criminal record and his 29-year-old partner for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
During a search of their home, the military found 600 grams of marijuana, some of which had already been divided into 37 bags ready for sale.

The drugs were hidden in a closet. Both ended up under house arrest, waiting to give their version to the judge. Above all, they will have to explain where they purchased the drugs.
