Parking and stopping will be prohibited at some hospitals in Naples from Saturday, April 29th to Monday , May 1st. This decision was made by the Municipality , which responded to requests from the Police Headquarters for special traffic measures in view of the possible Scudetto celebrations.
Scudetto celebration, no parking and no stopping at emergency rooms
In particular, from 10 am on Saturday 29 April to 12 pm on Monday 1 May, a request was made to ban stopping and parking with forced removal within a radius of 300 metres from hospital facilities with emergency rooms.
Following further discussions with the local police, the following hospitals were alerted: Ospedale del Mare , Cardarelli hospital , Santobono pediatric hospital , San Paolo hospital , Pellegrini hospital and Cto.
Negotiations for the improvement of the metro and funiculars for Sunday 30th
A meeting between the National Association of Magistrates and the trade unions will also be held today in the City of Naples to address the transport issue and ensure the extension of the metro and funicular timetables , thus allowing Neapolitans to celebrate without having to resort to using their cars to reach the city centre.
USB has announced that it is "available to negotiate a non-stop expansion of the public transport service during Napoli's Scudetto celebrations."
"We will ask ," they explain in a statement, " first and foremost that an adequate number of operators be assigned to all stations to safely handle the high influx of users, as well as an appropriate financial incentive for workers who voluntarily decide to participate in the event."
