Naples. Illegal construction work on an additional floor on the Echia steps has been seized. Europa Verde: "Immediate intervention after reporting the matter to the Anti-Illegal Builders' Office is a good thing. The site must be restored to its original condition immediately."
“We have received a report from some residents regarding the expeditious execution of works to create an extension on the roof of a building in Gradini Echia, one of the most fascinating places in our city.
According to the whistleblowers, the illegal construction work caused a real revolt by the residents of the floors below the alley, due to the loss of light in their apartments and the legitimate protest would have resulted in a heated discussion with those who were carrying out the abuse who maintained their right to proceed without however showing any title.
After we also reported the incident, we learned of the intervention on the construction site by the Anti-illegal Building section of the Naples Local Police , and that it was immediately seized. We now ask that the conditions of the site be immediately restored and that severe sanctions be imposed on whoever committed this outrage."
This was declared by Francesco Emilio Borrelli , MP for the Green-Left Alliance, and by the councillors of the 1st Municipality Gianni Caselli and Lorenzo Pascucci , who had received the report from the residents.
