Actor Toni Servillo fell ill while performing "The Voices of Dante" at the Odéon Theatre in Paris. French media reported the incident, explaining that the show was permanently interrupted after 45 minutes.
The theater said it was a temporary illness and that Servillo is “fine.” Servillo was performing an Italian text by Neapolitan writer Giuseppe Montesano and the show was sold out. The show was interrupted first to give first aid to the 64-year-old actor, then permanently to allow him to be taken to the hospital for some checks, but he is still fine and has recovered.
