“A point that is worth a lot for us and our position in the table: it's a huge boost of confidence for the rest of the season.” This is what Marco Zaffaroni , Verona coach , told DAZN after the draw against Napoli.
Zaffaroni: “Napoli great team, we knew we had to defend”
“ Ngonge 's chance ? It was undoubtedly a great opportunity, we prepared for the match this way ,” he added. “ Napoli is a great team, with excellent individual players and great organization. We knew we had to play a game of great concentration and intensity, but above all, predominantly defensive.”
Zaffaroni: “A result that should boost our morale”
"We'll have an intense end to the season, so this result should boost our morale, " he continued. " We needed to be strong enough to bounce back and start again. Lasagna did a great job with that, even when there was a chance to start again."
“We must have the mentality to fight until the last second of the last day; in a path like ours, the defeat in Genoa can happen, given that every match for us is a bit like the last chance.
This takes away a lot of your physical and nervous energy ,” he concludes.
