In the Council Chamber, Thursday 4 May at 18 pm, the presentation of the book by Bruno De Filippis, magistrate and novelist, “Millecinquecentosettantuno”.
The presentation of the book “Millecinquecentosettantuno – Dove siamo andare?” (Lastaria Edizioni – Collana Neon, 4), by Bruno De Filippis, magistrate and novelist, will be held in the council chamber of the Municipality of Vietri sul Mare, on Thursday 18 May at 2023 pm.
After the institutional greetings of the mayor Giovanni De Simone and the president of the city council Daniele Benincasa, the journalist Claudia Bonasi will interview Bruno De Filippis – President of the Civil Section of the Court of Appeal of Salerno – author of numerous novels, a literary activity that he skillfully combines with the production of important texts on family and personal law, drafting of legal texts and consultancy at parliamentary commissions.
As a counterpart to his professional activity, De Filippis writes mainly about love, human and couple relationships, often set in an elsewhere – the future – where everything is still possible.
In “Five Hundred and Seventy-One – Where Are We Going?” we see Cheyo and Wally, two women from distant planets, Earth 10 and Earth 11, who contact a human from the old world, Claudio, because they desire M, a meteorite with mysterious and extraordinary powers, containing a very rare particle of anti-antimatter. To recover it, Claudio, an expert geologist, will be catapulted to 1571 in Famagusta, where an epochal war is being fought between the local population and the Turkish army.
But the most difficult war to win is the internal one, which sees him suspended between the love for his wife Carla and Jenny, whom he met in another of his journeys through time. The reading of some passages is entrusted to Antonio Dura, director of the magazine Puracultura.
