Ten events until November for the Reggia Express
The appointment with the Reggia Express, the historic train with which you can reach Caserta and its Royal Palace, which can be accessed with a special price ticket, departing from Naples Central station, returns on Saturday 6 May.
The initiative is promoted by ACaMIR (Agenzia Campana Mobilità Infrastrutture e Reti) in collaboration with Fondazione FS. On board a vintage train made up of Centoporte and Corbellini carriages – from the 30s and 50s respectively – leaving at 10.10, it will be possible to immerse yourself in a bygone era, recovering slow time as a way of traveling and approaching the destination.
From Naples Central, on this journey back in time, you reach the Caserta train station, right in front of the majestic facade of the Royal Palace of Caserta; and for travellers-visitors with return train tickets, the management of the Vanvitellian complex has allocated a reduced-rate ticket, Reggia Express (cost 10 euros plus one euro for online purchase).
After the first trip next Sunday, the Reggia Express will return on nine other occasions (13 May, 10 and 24 June, 22 July, 2, 16 and 30 September, 28 October and 25 November).
