They had hidden 50 grams of heroin in their underwear, partly already divided into doses and packaged. A 42-year-old man and another 33-year-old man, both from Teggiano, in the province of Salerno, were arrested by the Carabinieri of the Company of Sala Consilina on charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substances.
The two men were stopped on board a car in Atena Lucana during a control operation. Following a search, both personal and home, the carabinieri found 50 grams of heroin, partly already divided into doses and packaged and partly hidden in the underwear of one of the two arrested. Material useful for packaging the drug was also found.
