Full transparency on public contributions for post-earthquake reconstruction Ischia will be guaranteed thanks to a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport - Interregional Office for Public Works for Campania, Molise, Puglia and Basilicata, Headquarters in Naples and the government commissioner for post-earthquake reconstruction.
Thanks to this agreement, preventive checks and random checks will be carried out to verify the correct use of the contributions paid to the projects and works that have benefited from public funding following the damage caused by the earthquake of 21 August 2017.
The Office will provide both technical and administrative support in carrying out the random checks, which will take place on a monthly basis and the costs of which will be borne by Commissioner Legnini himself, who wanted to thank President Migliorino "for his willingness to collaborate and for the technical support that will allow us to further strengthen the network of controls on the complex work for the reconstruction of Ischia, which deserves full rigor and correctness".
