Naples. Yesterday the State Police executed a warrant of arrest of a suspect in a crime issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Napoli against Camara Nuha, aged 27, as he is considered to be seriously suspected of the crime of attempted aggravated murder.
In particular, late in the evening of May 21, in via Ponte della Maddalena, following an argument over trivial matters, a 22-year-old homeless Gambian citizen was stabbed in the chest, suffering a puncture and cut wound at the level of the second right midclavicular space which required his hospitalization in a city hospital, where he still remains in a reserved prognosis.
The subsequent investigative activity, coordinated by the local Public Prosecutor's Office, which was articulated through the questioning of the victim and witnesses as well as through the acquisition of images taken by the city's video surveillance systems, allowed to gather serious evidence of guilt against the suspect. The latter was tracked down yesterday morning in a makeshift shelter not far from the place where the events had occurred.
