Yesterday afternoon, the agents of the Secondigliano Police Station, the military of the Secondigliano Carabinieri Station, personnel of the Secondigliano Operational Units of the Local Police of the Municipality of Naples, of the Labor Inspectorate and of Enel, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department and of the Nibbio, carried out an extraordinary service of territorial control in the Secondigliano neighborhood.
During the operation, 136 people were identified, 39 of whom had a police record, 77 vehicles were checked, 5 of which were subject to administrative seizure and one to administrative detention, and 19 violations of the Highway Code were contested for driving with a license other than the one required, expired periodic inspection, lack of insurance coverage, driving without a protective helmet, and for driving a vehicle already subject to seizure.
During the service, the operators also checked two commercial establishments in Via Dante whose owners were administratively fined for illegal occupation of public land, for having installed awnings outside their premises, for having installed an advertising sign without the required authorisations, for failure to display prices and a no-smoking sign, while they checked a mechanical workshop in Via dei Falegnami whose owner was fined for irregular loading and unloading of hazardous waste.
Finally, the officers reported a person for driving without a license because he had never obtained one, having repeated the violation in the two-year period.
