Yesterday, officers from the San Giovanni-Barra Police Station and personnel from the Naples Municipal Police, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in the San Giovanni-Barra neighborhood.
During the operation, 153 people were identified, 39 of whom had a police record, and 63 vehicles were checked, one of which was subjected to administrative seizure; 4 violations of the Highway Code were also contested for lack of insurance coverage.
The police officers in Via delle Repubbliche Marinare executed a prison order, issued in September 2022 by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples - Criminal Enforcement Office, against a 54-year-old Neapolitan man who had been sentenced to 3 years in prison for the crime of mistreatment in the family, committed in Naples between March and November 2019.
Furthermore, the operators checked 4 people under house arrest and reported one person for embezzlement after being caught driving a vehicle owned by a rental company.
