Today the Lilliput Literary Park has come to life. The largest urban social garden in southern Italy now also hosts the ten installations resulting from the project created by the Sepofà social cooperative, in partnership with Art33 and Dal Sociale, and financed by the 8xMille of the Waldensian Church.
Ten installations that tell the story of the path followed by the beneficiaries of the project. From sensorial writing to drawing with charcoal. Up to the production of cubes, made with recycled material, installed this morning in the urban garden. A path of integration of the users of the day center, with problems of addiction to substances and gambling, with other citizens of the area.
The inauguration of the Lilliput Literary Park was attended by the vice president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Costa. "For me, as a Neapolitan, it is important to be here because it means being able to say that when you want, with passion, with determination, with competence and also with the enlightened minds of public employees. I think of those who have dedicated part of their lives to this activity settore you can generate culture and beauty. The Lilliput Literary Park is a great signal to the city of culture and legality”. This was stated by the vice president of the Chamber, Sergio Costa.
“Seeing the results of the work done in these months of the project was exciting. The project had a big impact on the people followed by the Lilliput day center, on the operators, on the territory, as demonstrated by the copious participation. The urban social garden of Ponticelli is now richer, as are those who worked on the Lilliput Literary Park project. It was a beautiful morning, excited faces welcomed the soul of those who wrote, drew, created the works that enrich the urban social garden of Ponticelli. An oasis of beauty that everyone should know, and from today they can do so by going to see the Lilliput Literary Park too” . According to Deborah Divertito, a member of the Sepofà social cooperative.
