In Procida, Gianluca Barone, a 23-year-old from Procida already known to the police, ended up in handcuffs, a stone's throw from a beach resort on Via Colombo. The Carabinieri of the local station observed him for a long time and when they decided to check him, they found 8 small bags containing hashish on him.
A total of 10 grams of drugs, hidden in his underwear. Also in his pocket was a switchblade. Barone was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing and is now under house arrest awaiting trial which will take place with a direct trial before the Court of Napoli North.
