The Court of Assizes of Milan sentenced Mario Abraham Calero Ramirez, 45, and Carlos Gabriel Velasco Velasco, 23, to life imprisonment for the murder of Fernanda Cocchi, the 90-year-old former seamstress, killed at the end of October 2021, after being hit on the back of the head with an iron, in her apartment on via Ponte Seveso and then robbed of a couple of necklaces, a watch, a ring and a few euros.

The judges, presided over by Ilio Mannucci Pacini, went beyond the request of the prosecutor Rossella who had asked for 30 years for one of the two defendants and life in prison for the other.
