Extraordinary metropolitan runs on Line 2 after the Serie A match between Napoli and Sampdoria scheduled for Sunday 4 June at 18.30 at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
Trenitalia (leading company of the Passenger Hub of the FS Italiane Group), in agreement with the Campania Region and the Municipality of Napoli, will run metropolitan trains on Line 2 beyond the usual end of service time and until 2 am, to allow for an easier outflow of spectators.
In total there will be 88 additional journeys departing from the station Naples Campi Flegrei, of which 44 in the direction Naples San Giovanni-Barra and 44 in the direction Pozzuoli.
Given the scale of the event, it is preferable to purchase the train ticket in advance to avoid queues or long waits at the ticket counter. Only those who show a valid travel ticket to the railway staff will be admitted on board, who, in collaboration with the Police, will direct passengers to the platforms of departing subways. In addition, the ticket office at Naples Campi Flegrei will exceptionally remain open until 2 am.
In the stations of Naples Piazza Garibaldi and Naples Campi Flegrei there will be security checks Customer Service and FS Security, while the Piazza Leopardi station will be closed from 19.30 pm and there will be no passenger service.
