In honor of the third title won after 33 years from Soccer Naples, the Bakery chef Fabio Tuccillo wanted to celebrate i Champions of Italy creating a cake, with blue and white colours, of well 80 kg.On Sunday 4th June, on the occasion of the closing of the championship and the long-awaited official delivery of the cup to the team, a large event was organised party a San Gennaro Vesuvius, the town where the young chef from Campania comes from.
An event that has colored the streets and roads of the town, but not only. Each district has, in fact, cooked a specialty, making stands available to citizens to accompany the celebrations with tastings of all kinds of delicacies. Fabio Tuccillo thus gave life to a unique cake: 160 eggs, 20 kg of sponge cake, 16 litres of syrup, 40 kg of chantilly cream, 10 kg of chocolate chips and 15 kg of cream, all ingredients always of the highest quality and raw materials mainly of local origin.
“It was a really important victory, because Napoli dominated the championship, breaking all records and distancing all the pursuers.
But it was also a victory with a sweet taste because after so many years it finally made the dream of all of us fans come true. That's why I thought of a cake, the symbol of sweetness, but of 80 kg to underline the overwhelming victory of this fantastic team", declared Fabio Tuccillo.
The dessert features the players who are symbols of this extraordinary season, from the captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo, to the top scorer of the championship, Victor osimhen, without forgetting the one who made the history of the Italian team, Diego Armando Maradona.Chef Tuccillo finally chose the Vesuvio tricolour, iconic symbol of the Gulf di Napoli, as a backdrop to his great confectionery work.
