The Carabinieri of the Naples Capodimonte station have executed an order for the application of house arrest issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Napoli at the request of the local prosecutor's office against Vincenzo Castellano and Davide Esposito.
Both already known to the police, they are seriously suspected of a theft committed in the home of a 79-year-old Neapolitan woman. Castellano and Esposito would have shown up at the door of the elderly woman as Enel technicians, charged with drawing up a new contract.
Taking advantage of the 79-year-old's distraction, the two allegedly stole some cash withdrawal cards, thanks to which they subsequently pocketed approximately 1800 euros.
The investigations, conducted by the military and coordinated by the Neapolitan public prosecutor's office, were started after the victim's complaint.

Thanks to the analysis of the cameras installed along the road, the carabinieri retraced the path traced by the two. Identified, Castellano and Esposito were arrested and are now under house arrest
