Moments of fear last night inside the Decò supermarket in via Nazionale 900 a Greek's tower where two young bandits carried out a robbery.
It was a lightning-fast action, lasting less than thirty seconds. The two, with weapons in hand and their heads covered by full-face helmets, went into action around 20 pm yesterday evening, to empty the cash registers of the targeted supermarket.
The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile section of the local company intervened on the spot, at the instigation of the operations center. Listening to the cashiers who shortly before had seen weapons pointed at them to hand over the money relating to the day's takings.
the carabinieri viewed the images from the video surveillance system and were able to ascertain that shortly before, two people armed with pistols and wearing full-face helmets had committed a robbery inside the commercial establishment.
A shot under the terrified eyes of several customers, then fleeing on board a scooter parked outside and on which they had arrived. Luckily no shots were fired and there were no injuries, only a lot of fear among the people who saw weapons pointed at them.
The loot has yet to be quantified. Investigations are underway, also with the help of video surveillance cameras, to try to trace the perpetrators of the robbery.
