Many artists who, with their creativity, will colour the streets and alleys of the town, will be called to create open-air paintings inspired by the natural beauty and historical and religious symbols of Rutino (SA).
“This day will not only be a great opportunity to introduce artists and the public to the beauties of our small village, but we will all have the opportunity to experience a day dedicated to art and conviviality”: comments Carmen Matarazzo, coordinator of the Youth Forum, promoters of the event in collaboration with the Pro Loco “E.Cortazzo” and the Municipality of Rutino.
The event, now in its third year, has seen an exponential growth in the number of participants over the years. The works will be judged by a jury of young people under the direction of Antonella Nigro, a renowned art critic and historian.
New this year, in addition to the substantial cash prizes that will be awarded to the top four, are the critics' prizes and the popular prize.
The event, which will take place throughout the day, will feature various artists such as Nigel Lembo, puppeteer and storyteller who will perform in a show aimed at adults and children; the Monghan duo, a group composed of Celtic harp, violin and bagpipes and the Majorettes of the Agropoli Classical High School.
Furthermore, during the day it will be possible to attend the photographic exhibition “I Borghi del Cilento” curated by Domenico Volpe.
The event will end with a concert by Bottari di Macerata Campania.
