The publication of unreleased songs by SABBA continues, after “Carnera” and “Call Me” he makes available the new “Portami giù” made in collaboration with the rapper-soul PeppOH. The two will present it exclusively live on Friday 9 June at the AperiArt evening at the CAM Museum in Casoria (Na).
Sabba, talented singer-songwriter and musician, is ready to amaze his fans once again with the release of his third single entitled “Portami giù”. This song, produced for the first time by Sabba himself, was written and composed by the two artists at SoulFuel studio and mixed and mastered by Francesco Giuliano at his Innerwood Music Mansion.
“Portami giù” is also a video made by the company IRed, production geniuses and creators of video clips for Clementino and Caparezza.
“It was a marriage of soul souls. I had this song that I only liked the chorus of. PeppOh came to my studio, SoulFuel, where I usually do pre-productions to then entrust to third parties but in this case I realized that I still had something to give to the song. So I played the bass line, the guitars, the piano and I decided it was time to stop. That's how my first musical production was born and I'm really proud of it!” – says Sabba.
With this new single Sabba demonstrates that she has great musical sensitivity and a voice that can convey strong and engaging emotions, thanks to a song that challenges the “superficiality of relationships” and tells the depth of inner abysses”.
The song talks about “lack”, about that lost but never ended love, which with its explosive force “brings you down” and then makes you rise again.
“Take Me Down” (Don’t Be Afraid of Me) tells of the inner torments of those who get close and get lost, perhaps because of the fear of facing the inner shadows, of those who have too many bruises and then move away and get lost again, and this really seems to be the only way to light up one’s own spark and that of similar people, tormented but sensitively sweet souls, looking only for a hug, perhaps missed, perhaps never given.
