Yesterday, the officers of the Torre Annunziata Police Station, the finance officers of the Naples Provincial Command and personnel of the Municipal Police, with the support of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service in Torre Annunziata and in particular in Corso Vittorio Emanuele III, in Via Plinio, Cuparella and Settetermini, in Vico Gelso, Piazza Risorgimento and in Penniniello park.
During the activity, 266 people were identified, of which 88 with police records, 98 vehicles checked, of which 3 were administratively seized and one subjected to administrative detention, 6 violations of the Highway Code were contested for driving without a licence, lack of insurance coverage and for lack of periodic review.
Again in a commercial establishment on Corso Vittorio Emanuele III, the operators found and seized 4 gaming machines without the relevant authorizations and not connected to the network of the Customs and Monopolies Agency, therefore the owner of the establishment was reported for aggravated gambling, while the slots, with the related takings of 2031 euros, were seized.
