The Carabinieri of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Company, as part of a coordinated territorial control service aimed at combating crimes involving weapons and narcotics, arrested a 35-year-old local man who, following a house search at his home, was found in possession of an unregistered revolver pistol without a serial number, 2 .32 cal bullets and 1 butterfly knife.
The weapon was hidden inside a lockable compartment of the roller shutter while the bullets and the knife were inside a drawer in the bedroom. Also found and seized were 1,7 grams of a narcotic substance of the hashish type. The arrested person was placed under house arrest
During the same coordinated operation, the military personnel of the Arma reported at large a 17-year-old from San Tammaro and a 24-year-old from Santa Maria Capua Vetere who, following a house search at their respective homes, were found in possession of: the 17-year-old of 35 bars of a narcotic substance of the hashish type with a total gross weight of 51,67 g, hidden inside an ornament on a wall shelf in the bedroom and n. 2 precision scales and the 24-year-old of a quantity of 0,9 g of a narcotic substance of the hashish type.
