Three earthquakes in the space of 23 minutes shook the Campi Flegrei area and the neighborhoods of Napoli connected
The strongest earthquake was of magnitude 2.6 on the Richter scale and was recorded in the morning in the Campi Flegrei area. The seismographs of the Vesuvius Observatory reported the telluric movement at 11:43, identifying the epicenter in the Solfatara crater.
The earthquake was felt throughout the area, from Pozzuoli to Bagnoli. No damage was reported.
A minute later a second shock of magnitude 1.8 and then the third at 12,10 of magnitude 1. Another shock, of magnitude 2.3, was recorded at 22.54 pm yesterday evening in the area near Vesuvius.
And also in the area of the volcano that overlooks the province of Naples there were four more aftershocks in the space of 50 minutes.
