The Province of Avellino and ARPAC Campania have signed an agreement to increase the frequency and systematicity of inspections at waste management facilities. Specifically, the Agency, represented by Director General Stefano Sorvino, will conduct inspections to verify permits, site compliance, and inspect the management of liquid waste and atmospheric emissions.
"The valuable collaboration with ARPAC, which is particularly committed to environmental protection in the Irpinia region," commented Provincial President Rino Buonopane. Sorvino, for his part, emphasized that "the agreement in this sensitive sector can be considered a virtuous model to be consolidated in other thematic areas and territorial contexts."
The agreement, which will last one year with the possibility of renewal, also includes an optimization of the census of the plants and the available data.
