Numerous citizens have reported to the deputy of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, the persistence of an illegal landfill in the Municipality of Arzano in a lay-by of the Circumvallazione Esterna of Naples, precisely at km 20, a few hundred meters from the Mugnano – Melito exit. According to what the citizens reported to the deputy, this situation is repeated continuously and every time the lay-by is emptied within a few hours it fills up again.
“We cannot tolerate that our land is polluted and destroyed by the criminal hand of some delinquents. The problem of this illegal landfill is so well known that the piles of waste, of all kinds, have also been immortalized by Google Maps and are visible in satellite images.
The institutions must respond firmly, I believe it is necessary to install cameras to protect the area, in this way it will be possible to immortalize the dirty people and punish them harshly. The defense of the territory, the fight against pollution, in a region torn apart by the land of fires, must be an absolute priority". This is what was declared by the deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
