'The Fairy Deer' at the Mostra d'Oltremare. Resumed in September.
The first part of “Open Air” in the Teatro dei Piccoli of the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples ends with the show “La cerva fatata” (Sunday, July 16) by the Teatro dei Colori in Avezzano. The festival, organized by I Teatrini, Progetto Sonora and Le Nuvole/Casa del Contemporaneo, created in agreement with the Campania Region, the Municipality and the management of the Mostra d'Oltremare, will propose its second session between September 9 and October 15, with a selection of 11 new shows.
In the meantime, the initiative entirely dedicated to children (from 3 years old) and their families, proposes next Sunday, again in the Pineta del Teatro dei Piccoli at 19 pm, “La cerva fatata” a show of actors and animated figures that the director Valentina Ciaccia takes from “Lo cunto de li cunti” by Giambattista Basile.
“On the scene – we read in the director's note – a colorful book comes to life and the characters transform: the princes are foxes, the cats are Cinderellas, the statues come to life, the sleeping girls don't want to wake up. From every metamorphosis a story is born and every change leads to growth and discovery".
The show features the actress Rossella Celati – in the various roles of the text – and the puppets animated by Valentina Franciosi, with the narrative voice of Daniela Calò and the original illustrations of Ilaria Meli.
