"We've already made the most important move. It's the arrival in Turin of Cristiano Giuntoli, the new sporting director. Joints will lead to Juventus a way of working that enhances young talents and builds champions." He explains it John Elkann, CEO of Exor, the family holding company Agnelli who also controls Juventus, in an interview with La Stampa on the occasion of the centenary of the black and white team.

"Wherever he's been, he's done an excellent job in this regard. And now he'll have the many young and strong talents we have at his disposal. Adaptation and innovation, in perfect continuity with our history.", adds Elkann who underlines "visceral love" that unites the family to Juventus from July 24, 1923 to today and together "the responsibility of building the future by renewing and adapting to the times."

"Juventus - says Elkann - It has historically been the backbone of Italian football, an integral part of it. It has provided the structure for the national teams that have won world titles. We have always been a positive force for Italian football and we want to continue to be so, remaining open to dialogue and collaboration with the institutions.

As for the expectations of the employees of the group's companies and the fans, Elkann explains: We have chosen to be competitive in all the professions we engage in. We strive to do so with humility and a sense of realism. In any context, whether business or sporting, where there is fierce competition, the challenge must be faced with courage and determination. This is the responsibility we feel and what allows us to endure over time.

Elkann says Juventus has always given to the family "many more joys and satisfactions than disappointments" and, in relation to the legal events involving the company, reiterates its belief "that we acted completely correctly. Therefore, we defended ourselves and will continue to assert our rights, without arrogance, but with full respect for the institutions."

For the future "no discontinuity with Andrea, on the contrary - concludes the president of Exor - There is a clear continuity between our origins and today: an unbroken line, made of innovation, tenacity and above all priceless emotions that make us happy to be black and white."
