The first edition of “Anima Flegrea – Festival of myth, culture and dance” ended yesterday in Acquamorta Monte di Procida (Na), with the highly acclaimed Gran Galà “E lucean le stelle”, hosted by journalist and television host Veronica Maya, godmother of excellence. The event, directed by international choreographer Antonio Colandrea, was produced by the Municipality of Monte di Procida with WiAutomation and organized by ArtGarage – Contemporary Choreographic and Performing Arts Center with the collaboration of CampiFlegrei Active, Artù, Avvertenze Generali, the ProLoco of Monte di Procida and Endas.
Each of the 6 evenings of dance, theater, fashion and music was a sold out with a lot of participation from critics with about 50 excellences awarded in each category. The Gran Galà “E lucean le stelle”, the final evening of “Anima Flegrea”, inspired by the celestial firmament, saw on stage, to embellish the Festival, the creations of the internationally renowned choreographer Jacopo Godani, present with two dancers from the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, Zoe Lenzi Allaria and Felix Berning; the dancers Claudia D'Antonio, Stanislao Capissi, Martina Affaticato, Irene De Rosa and Giuseppe Ceccarelli from the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; and many other international artists such as the choreographers Roberta Ferrara, Niko Piscopo and Sabrina Massignani with the Venezia Balletto. The musical guest of the evening was Diego Moreno with his international success l’Azzurro Corazòn, to celebrate the exciting season of Napoli in the Italian soccer championship.
