Their unmistakable style that blends pop, jazz, soul and Latin rhythms such as bossa nova has accompanied the summers and ecstasies of at least two generations, with wonderful and unforgettable hit songs such as Whose side are you on? / More than i can bear / Sneaking out the back door / Half a minute / Get out of your lazy bad / Don't blame it on that girl and many others.

BIOGRAPHY

Matt Bianco formed in 1982, initially featuring keyboardist Danny White, bassist Kito Poncioni, and singers Mark Reilly and Basia Trzetrzelewska. However, the band disbanded after their debut album, "Whose Side Are You On?" (1982). Three years later, the group reformed with Reilly and Mark Fisher, with various alternating singers. "Indigo" was released in 1988, followed by the compilation album "A/Collection." "Rico" was released in 2001, a work recorded in a studio in Cuba.
In 2003, Mark Reilly, Basia Trzetrzelewska, and Danny White reunited to release "Matt's Mood" the following year, a critically acclaimed album. Following this success, however, White and Trzetrzelewska decided to leave the group again, while Reilly reunited with Fisher, reforming as a musical duo. A series of compilations were released, followed in 2009 by "Hi-FI Bossanova," an album featuring Reilly and Fisher as a duo. Four years later, their new album, "Hideway," was released.
Keyboardist and composer Mark Fisher passed away on December 12, 2016.
The new album "Gravity" was released in October 2017, followed by "High Anxiety" in 2020, and "The Essential Matt Bianco. Re-imagined, Re-loved."
