Due workers of a yard in Marina Square they ended up in hospital, hit with a wooden stick from a 47enne di Casamicciola Terme, already known to the police. The 47-year-old was placed under house arrest and is now awaiting trial. This was communicated by the Carabinieri of Napoli.
The workers were working on a construction site for the gasification of the area and for no apparent reason they were first insulted and then beaten with sticks. One of the two suffered a fractured shoulder bone, the other bruises and abrasions: 30 and 3 days of prognosis prescribed in the emergency room of theRizzoli Hospital di Lacco Ameno.
The man was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Ischia mobile radio unit, while the club used was seized. “It is not yet clear why he attacked the two – the military affirm in a note – but it is likely that the state of drunkenness may have played a determining role".
