Over the last three days, officers from the General Prevention Office and local police personnel have carried out checks in the area of the “chalets” of Mergellina and in Largo Sermoneta.
They identified 515 people, 146 of whom had a police record, checked 158 vehicles, 4 of which were subject to administrative seizure, and charged 28 violations of the Highway Code for driving without a protective helmet, prohibition of stopping and parking, lack of insurance coverage, failure to display circulation documents and driving in the town centre without observing the mandatory sign imposed by road signs.
Finally, two commercial establishments were checked.
