The tragedy occurred in the late afternoon today in the Catapano district of San Marco dei Cavoti. The victims are Alessandro De Corso, 40 years old, and his father Franco De Corso, over sixty years old. The two bodies were found by police warned by some relatives.
According to a very initial reconstruction, the two had argued over trivial matters. Suddenly the argument degenerated: the father armed himself with a gun and shot his son twice, killing him.
He then turned the gun on himself, taking his own life. The police are questioning the family members to understand the reasons for the fight.
