Shortly before 17pm, on the A1 Milan-Naples motorway, in the section between Caianello and San Vittore, in the direction of Rome, an accident occurred at km 685 involving a truck with a load spilled onto the carriageway.
Mechanical and medical assistance, Highway Police patrols and personnel from the 6th Cassino Section Directorate of Autostrade per l'Italia intervened on site. Currently, in the affected section, traffic is on one lane and there is a 7 km tailback in the direction of Rome.
Users travelling to Rome are advised to exit at Caianello station and rejoin the A1 Milan-Naples at San Vittore station, after travelling along the ordinary roads along the SS6 Casilina.
