After being released, in recent months he returned to Pianura, where he tried to earn a place within the new balance of power of the Camorra.
The alarm was raised around 18:25 PM yesterday when two hitmen with their faces covered crossed via Sartania on a motorbike. After identifying their target, the group fired at point-blank range, hitting Antonio Lago and the XNUMX-year-old who was near him. It is currently unclear whether the two were together or whether the young man with no criminal record was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Once released, Antonio Lago decided to get involved again in the criminal activities of Pianura, thinking of making space for himself after the blitz that had decimated the Carillo-Perfetto and Calone-Esposito-Marsicano families.
But yesterday afternoon's ambush shows that this is not the case and that there is no more criminal space in the old Lago in Pianura.
