Elio Eraku, the 17-year-old boy who caused a fatal accident today that killed two Italians from Pozzuoli, Domenico Gritto, 24, and Vincenzo Tizzano, 32, has already been arrested by Albanian police.
The Albanian Daily News made the announcement, specifying the dynamics of the accident. The two compatriots were traveling on a Honda motorcycle that was hit head-on by a Mercedes. The seventeen-year-old was accompanied by a 16-year-old boy.
The accident occurred at night on the road between Saranda and Ksamil. The two Italians were on board a Honda motorcycle that collided with a Mercedes Benz, which was driven by a minor boy, 17 years old, therefore without a license.
According to the Albanian authorities, the two deceased Italian tourists were Domenico Gritto, 24, and Vincenzo Tizzano, 32, originally from Campania. The Farnesina – as far as we know – is following the case through the Italian Consulate General in Vlora.
