Twenty-one-year-old Dutchman Sacha Chang, suspected of stabbing his father and a family friend to death in Montaldo Mondovì (Cuneo), was captured by the Carabinieri.
The young man had fled into the woods of Val Corsaglia. At least a hundred military personnel from the Arma took part in the search.
The young man, with mental problems, had fled on foot on August 16th in the woods of the area after the double homicide. The search, which continued without stopping, involved one hundred carabinieri, a helicopter and the dog unit.
The 21-year-old was on holiday in Italy with his father, a guest at the home of a friend of the man, when he grabbed a knife and fatally stabbed first his father and then his friend, before disappearing into the woods where he was located and arrested this morning.
