The commitment of the military of the Marcianise Forestry Carabinieri Station continues in carrying out territorial control services aimed at combating the illegal transportation and disposal of waste in the territories of the so-called "Land of Fires".

While patrolling the territory of the municipality of Aversa they noticed a truck with a white container that was transporting material covered with a green tarpaulin.

The patrol promptly intervened and stopped the vehicle, finding non-hazardous special waste on its bed consisting of: damaged ceramic tiles, tuff stones presumably deriving from renovation works, concrete blocks, fragments of perforated bricks, estimated at total volume of approximately 3 cubic meters.

The vehicle was not registered in the Register of Environmental Managers and no document was produced regarding the place of production of the waste, its nature, its destination (FIR, analysis, etc.).

Therefore, since precise criminal responsibilities emerged against the driver of the vehicle in relation to the crime of loading and transporting special non-hazardous waste without the required registration in the Register of Environmental Managers, the military proceeded with the judicial seizure of the vehicle and the waste and they referred the driver, in a state of freedom, to the Judicial Authority.
