At a well-known beach in Bacoli, in addition to paying for two sun loungers and an umbrella, the parents of a little girl were asked for 1 euro, with a regular receipt, to heat up pasta for their daughter.
The photo of the receipt with the report of the incident was brought to the attention of the deputy Francesco Emilio Borrelli.
“Reports are arriving from various quarters of cases in which tourists and bathers, from North to South, are asked to pay for additional non-existent services such as cutting a sandwich or requesting ice cubes.
In Bacoli itself, Mayor Josi Della Ragione made his voice heard for another beach resort that had denied access to the baths to a bather from the free beach. In this case too, we informed him for the necessary checks of the complaint.
We are witnessing unacceptable behavior by some business owners who are certainly not known for their intellectual honesty. Bloodletting customers is a decidedly unjustified behavior that casts a threatening shadow over the success of the tourist season
. A real threat for a territory that lives on tourism which, if conceived intelligently, can guarantee work and well-being”, this is the comment of Francesco Emilio Borrelli, deputy of the Green Alliance – Left, who received the report of the incident.
