Due to a car that was regularly parked in an illegal manner in front of the gate of the house in Four Hands Street n.10 a disabled minor is forced to stay at home because he cannot go out with his stroller. The incident, reported to the deputy of Alleanza Verdi Sinistra Francesco Emilio Borrelli by the minor's mother, was also the subject of a complaint filed on June 30th to the Nola Prosecutor's Office for private violence. On July 18th the Carabinieri also arrived for an inspection.
"My neighbor forces me not to use the pedestrian gate so I can go out with my son," the mother wrote to Borrelli, "who unfortunately often needs a stroller due to his disability. Fortunately, the Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation, but the timeframe is not short and unfortunately I live in a situation of terror with this person because, in addition to the lawyer's warnings, when I ask him to go through, he always raises his voice and then mocks the stroller and consequently my son's condition. I never know what this person's reactions might be and I am afraid to go in and out with my son alone."
"We are faced with a shameful case of arrogance and insensitivity," commented Borrelli, "which deserves an immediate response from the institutions aimed at guaranteeing the minor the right to enter and leave the house freely. Where common sense and civility do not reach, then the institution must arrive to guarantee the rights of all, especially the most fragile people. I hope that the Prosecutor's Office will be quick in judging this case and that the necessary technical remedies will be immediately adopted by the condominium or the municipal administration to help this child."
