The Carabinieri of the Caivano company arrested Armando Leanza, a 49-year-old local man already known to the police, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
During a search of his home on Corso Umberto I, the military found 2 blocks of hashish weighing 89 and 39 grams. They were in a purse, hidden in the bedroom. Also in the house were a cannabis plant, a precision scale, material for packaging the doses and 750 euros, an amount believed to be illicit proceeds.
Leanza ended up in handcuffs and is now in Poggioreale prison, awaiting trial.
